Spiritual Sight — 6th Week — Day 7 — Great Lent
Scripture Reading:
John 9:1–41
Key Verse:
“Then he said, ‘Lord, I believe!’ And he worshiped Him.” – John 9:38
Meditation:
While I judge others for their sins, Christ is working to heal them. As I sharpen my criticism, He softens hearts. I see flaws, but He sees potential. The true blindness is thinking we see clearly while ignoring our own need for healing.
Early Church Fathers’ Saying:
“Enlightenment—baptism—is the ship that sails toward God, following Christ, the fullness of reason. It is the key to the Kingdom of Heaven, the restoration of life, the freedom from slavery, and the breaking of all bonds.” St. Gregory the Theologian
Practical Practice:
Today, when tempted to judge someone, stop. Say a silent prayer for their healing and ask God to open your eyes. True enlightenment is not seeing others’ faults—but seeing God working in them and in you.
